In Solidarity With Iceland

So, Icelanders have it rough nowadays, at least economically. I have a lot of love for that country. The energy is amazing, perhaps because, geologically speaking, the island popped up from the ocean very recently. It’s like the youthful spirit of the land vitalizes you the moment you set foot on its rocky surface. And what a beautifully carved surface that is!

Just like silence can be more beautiful than words, and a single rose can be more beautiful than a handful of flowers, the vast emptiness of Iceland is extraordinarily beautiful. And that’s just to not mention the women!
Anyway, in the spirit of Iceland, I’ll share with you another song by Sigur Rós today. This Icelandic music has been just as inspiring to me on my spiritual path as any teacher. After all, Spiritual Enlightenment isn’t something that can really be conveyed in words, so the direct emotionality of music can be just as good to get the point across. This song is titled “Hoppipolla” (”jumping in puddles”), and the music video is made by Arni and Kinski.
… and I’ll also mention, once again, their absolutely wonderful album “Takk” (”Thank you”). Seriously, the first time I found this, I listened to nothing else for three months. And I listen to music a lot.

Yeah Iceland is a true beauty.
I want to visit that place on day.
Funny video, although the music isn´t my thing.
be Well!

The blog was precisely fantastic! Lots of great information and encouragement, both of which we all need!
